When you sit down to plan a dream wedding or other social or business event, your goal is to create an experience guests will talk about long after the party is over. From the thoughtfulness put into the logistics of travel and accommodations, to the details and ingredients placed on the dining table, every aspect of a gathering creates the overall event experience.

Earlier this week, American Apparel featured a Hong Kong-based fashion blogger Joey Ma on its Facebook page for wearing AAs chiffon skirt. Mas photo spiked a curiosity, and I immediately delved into some research. Apparently, hes just more than your average *~* Chic and Chanel *~* fashion blogger.

Ma doesnt quite fit the stereotypical bill of a cross-dresser, and cant be grouped with the likes of David Bowie, RuPaul or BryanBoy. By no means is Ma more subtle or less proud of his courageous fashion choices, but it can be argued hes in it for the fashion, not for the attention.

In an interview with Time Out Hong Kong, Ma revealed that two sides of his personality exist, and each has its own style.

Two Saturdays ago, I woke up at 7:40am when I heard a knock on my front door. I peeked through the blinds and saw an LAPD officer.

Uh-oh.

My heart started pounding because police officers never knock on doors to deliver good news like winning the lottery.

In this case, they were checking to see if I had noticed anything missing or had seen or heard anything suspicious the night before. It turns out that my next-door neighbors living in the house attached to mine had been robbed overnight.

What time did it happen? I asked.

Well, they went to bed about 11:30 or so he started to reply.
