Regardless if we want it here or not, winters coming!

And its coming QUICKLY! They actually are predicting snow tomorrow in New England (way too early for me!).

There are certain items one needs every winter:
1. Boots
2. Hats
3. Scarves
4. Gloves
5. Jacket

I would say the JACKET is the main foundation to winter attire. And just because we need a jacket for its functionality, it doesnt mean that we cant get a little fashion-forward! There are some amazing options in outerwear right now that cross the function and fashion worlds beautifully.

When my sister-in-law got engaged last year, I was so excited to be able to help her with some of her wedding planning, and mainly, her wedding invitations! Our first order of business was to come up with a color palette that we could use for the invitations and carry onto the wedding celebration. I came up with several palettes for Angela, and after looking them over, she decided on this one

Next I went to work designing her invitations. Angela loves books, so my main inspiration was vintage books.

The 1920s fashion is back to captivate fashionistas, celebrities and fashion designers.  This era brought the ever popular flapper trend. This year we will be seeing a lot of flapper inspired ensembles that will revive the 1920s fashion. This trend is popular again because of the latest interpretation of the novel The Great Gatsby and the popular TV show Boardwalk Empire.  Aside from the 1920s trend the 70s fashion already dominated the runways and streets this year and both era shared similarities in terms of fashion.
