For the avid Gemma Ward fans out there (myself included), there’s more gossip revealed about the model/actress’s role in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie, also known as Pirates of the Caribean: On Stranger Tides. Gemma’s plays a mermaid called Tamara and she’s not just any mermaid, she’s the Queen of the Mermaid’s. MiceChat forum members have posted news that she will play a role which see’s her play an integeral part in the major motion picture, where she has or is guarding the Fountain of Youth, something that may help Johnny Depp’s character, Jack Sparrow return for the sequel. Rumour has it there may be a romance between the two, but with Penelope Cruz cast as Depp’s love interest we don’t think this is very likely.
What do you think of this news? We wish we could find pictures of Gemma all done up in her mermaid costume, but alas nothing has been leaked – yet. Although we did find images of a mermaid’s body laying dead on a beach a few weeks ago.
