Sunderland have unveiled the brand new away kit for the 2011-12 Barclays Premier League season, which will be available here.
The kit features a vibrant shirt in vivid blue with a bold white chest band, highlighting the modern, clean lines synonymous with Umbros tailored range.
This years shirt features a round-neck and white shorts, while socks trimmed with the same vivid blue colour complete the new change strip, which will go on sale on July 1.
Direct from the Tailored by Umbro collection, the kit carries the name of the clubs main sponsors, tombola.*
Defenders Titus Bramble, Phil Bardsley and Michael Turner modelled the new kit in a recent photoshoot.
Bardsley, Sunderlands player of the season, said: “Im very impressed with the new kit, its bright, bold and really stands out, which is just what you need on the pitch.
“Its comfortable and stylish and I think it will be very popular with our fans.”
Lesley Callaghan, SAFCs marketing and commercial director, added: “The away shirt is always a popular choice with supporters for their summer holidays so we are delighted that our new change strip will launch in early July.
“As always we would urge supporters wherever possible to consider buying their shirts from official club stores as by doing so they will benefit the club and the team directly.”
*In compliance with gambling legislation, baby, infant and junior-sized shirts will not carry the tombola logo.
